H’s Birthday

H had a really great birthday! She received lots of clothes which she desperately needed. The girl is growing like a weed. (At her 3 year checkup she was 38.25 inches and 33lbs 5oz.) She got a lot of princess dress up stuff and she is loving it. We get a fashion show every night. I think we have a little Diva on our hands. Along with all of this she got some money and other toys. She made out like a bandit.

This weekend we will be going to Sea World just the 4 of us this time. D is really excited because we told him we would spend a lot of time in the water park. The boy would live in the water if you let him. H not so much. So we will have to do the log ride again since H and D both just loved it. We are trying to give D a really good Summer before he starts his first year of Kindergarten.

I will try to be better about posting but man life gets so busy with 2 little ones. We want to Thank everyone for all you do for us. We have the best family in the World. Love all of you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL!

My baby girl turned 3 this morning. She is growing up so fast. I made her cupcakes last night to take to school with her. I got up at 5am and decorated them this morning. I woke her up and D and I sang Happy Birthday to her. Then we had cake for breakfast. I know healthy right. :) She kept saying “It’s my birthday!” D kept trying to talk to her and tell her something but H kept yelling at him “Quit talking to me!” Already a little Diva! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL! Mama Loves you very much!

Dallas Zoo 2010

This past Saturday we went to the Dallas Zoo with Cowpa (Davey’s Dad) and had a blast. I have to say it was hotter than Haities though. You have to just love the Texas weather. Despite the heat we all had a great time. The kids did get a little fussy but in that heat it was to be expected. The Zoo had a new exhibit for the large mammals of Africa that was really nice. We rode the train around 11am and man it was hot but it was a good thing we rode it when we did because they closed it down not long after because of the heat. The kids road the carousal and a camel which both where a waste of money but they liked it. I only say it was a waste of Money because the carousel ride lasted maybe a little more than a minute and was $2 a person. The camel ride was two small circles around the pen and it was over and that was $5 a person. The kids did enjoy it though. So after walking the Zoo in the heat Cowpa took us out to eat in a nice cool place. Thanks Cowpa! So it was a really great trip and the kids had a blast except for the car ride. D kept saying I wish we live closer to the Zoo so we did not have to drive so long. :) I told him he needs to invent a transporter so we did not have to be in the car so long. He said he would. Fingers crossed! LOL

We had a great 4th of July weekend!

We left out Friday morning for San Antonio. Even with all the rain we made it to the Zoo around 10am. We really lucked out because it stopped raining right as we got to the Zoo. The Kids had a blast looking at all the animals but they got a little cranky. It is a lot of walking for a 2 and 5 year old. After we walked around the Zoo we went on the train ride. It was a lot longer than we thought and really enjoyable. H fell asleep so I ended up having to hold her. She needed the nap though. After the train ride we planned to go to Sea World and go to the water park. However, it rained the whole time and by the time we got over to Sea World it was after 6pm so we just got our season passes and went on a few rides with D. H stayed with Davey’s Mom. We went back to the camper and Davey’s Mom and step-dad took us all out to eat. When we got back to the camper everyone was tired so we cleaned up and went to bed.

Saturday we got up early and made it to Sea World just as they opened. It only rained a very little at the start of the day then it was nice and cloudy the rest of the day so it was not too hot. We were able to catch all the shows and do most of the rides. Since we did not get to the water park the day before we took the kids over there for a few hours. I was amazed at how much D & H loved the rides. Both of the kids wanted to ride everything even though they were not tall enough. When we took H on the log ride she laughed the whole time and then when it was over I had to pry her hands off the handles as she screamed no I want to ride again. So I have me two rollercoaster riders. YAY! I have to talk Davey into riding a lot of the rides so maybe now I can just ride with the kids. We stayed all day and watched the fireworks show at 9:45pm. It was really good and the music they played was awesome. We all had a great time but where totally beat by the time we got back to the trailer.

Sunday we came home and went with my mom and dad to see the fireworks show at Miller Park. It was really good but could not even compare to the Sea World show. The kids where really tired by this point and just needed a little bit of down time.

Monday my mom and dad treated everyone to the Movies. We saw Toy Story 3 for the kids’ first movie. They did really well. H was ready to go toward the end but other than that they were great. After that we went out to eat and then home.

It was a really long weekend but oh so fun. We really want to thank Donieta and Larry for letting us stay with them in their trailer and going to Sea World with us. Thank you for everything!
